As you can see we can have story branches, webs and even converging. There may be for example.
And of course, players are able to hop in or choose to not participate in certain quests at any time. There will be faction sign ups for events. Some events might not have skirmishes while some might have 3, like when besieging Sal Ghidos which requires 4 skirmishes.
Battle - Storming the North Gate Battle - Infiltrating the Sewers Battle - Reinforcements Attacking the South Gate (Non-Nanten allowed)
Leading to either: Battle - Storming the Keep (If 2 out of 3 is successful) Battle - Battle in the Streets (If 1 out of 3 is successful) Reatreat (If none are successful)
Reminds me of those cool old Goosebumps books or the GI Joe Choose Your Own Adventures.

I like that set up, Diethe. Great job. That is something that we can easily brainstorm ideas around. We should also begin coming up with some city descriptions for these locations as soon as possible.

For a counterpoint to the Nanten, we can discuss the Dhalizun Host and their motives, and bounce ideas between the different factions. For years they have been laying waste to Zeltennia, after cunningly retaking Zelamonia and rolling through Sal Ghidos. They have secured an alliance with Romanda and believe an allied push into Ivalice can be successful. If they can take Zeltennia, Lesalia is thrown into immediate danger. Possible NPC's include: - Suad ibn Daud Pasha, Miralai-i-Azam (Aghasi al-Dhalizun)
- Absi Najam Pasha, Balukasi al-Ghizkhazun
- Abu Mustafa Pasha, Pasha-i-Azam
- Maybe others
In fact we should actually create new threads for each faction, and their individual story arcs that will progress through the beta.
