With the exception of Earth Slash, I like the concept of Monk. In fact, Monk is perhaps the only class that I think we could directly port over and have it fit in to the New HoI / FFSim concept easily. However, Monks are incredibly powerful and are the only class with exponential power growth (PA*PA appears in a couple ability formulae), and that needs to be addressed a bit.
